As APC marks its 10th anniversary, we are pleased to announce a new chapter in our journey. After a decade of building a trusted and collaborative community of philanthropists across Asia, we look to the future with fresh energy and renewed purpose.
We are delighted to share that Esther Chang will join APC as Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 July 2025.
Esther brings more than 20 years of experience in the non-profit and impact sectors. She most recently served as Executive Director of the UN Global Compact Network Singapore, where she led efforts to advance corporate sustainability and foster cross-sector partnerships in support of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Her earlier work in education and healthcare advancement across Asia and North America has further shaped her belief in the power of strategic philanthropy to drive long-term change—an outlook deeply aligned with APC’s mission.
A Taiwanese-Canadian who has lived in Asia for over a decade, Esther brings both global perspective and deep regional insight to the role. Her collaborative leadership style, strong relationship-building skills, and commitment to impact make her well positioned to lead APC into its next phase.
We also extend our sincere thanks to Carol Tan, who has served as Deputy CEO since 2023. Carol will step down on 30 June 2025, and we are grateful for the dedication and care she has brought to APC during her tenure.
As we begin this new chapter, we remain committed to fostering a vibrant and connected philanthropic community across Asia—and to unlocking collective impact for a more equitable and sustainable region.
