KL Roundtable

APC members, fellow philanthropists and a few education experts convened in KL to discuss education challenges in the country in June. Discussions centred on the gaps in interventions in the education system where APC could play a meaningful role, given that there were many players already involved in trying to tackle the issues including government ministries and private groups. The meeting decided to address the substantial gaps in the special needs education area, which lacked proper identification, trained educators, and appropriate curriculum. Indonesia: A Collaborative Community Development Effort in a Low-Cost Public Housing Community During our last roundtable session in Jakarta in August, our Indonesian members converged to finalise their involvement in the Rusunawa Pinus Elok project.
