Giving to China: A Guide for Asian Philanthropists (English Version)

The Cross Border Giving Guides act as toolkits for new philanthropists going into countries that they are not so familiar with. The guides provide a landscape review of the country, including recommendations from experienced practitioners on the ground, relating to the regulatory framework, cultural issues, sources for information, and case studies. The guide will also help members to navigate working in the country.

“Giving to China: A Guide for Asian Philanthropists”, published by Asia Philanthropy Circle (APC), in partnership with China Institute for Philanthropy and Social Innovation (CIPSI) and Nanyang Centre for Public Administration (NCPA) is designed as a quick overview to help local and overseas philanthropists navigate through regulatory environments and cultural differences when engaging in philanthropy activities in China.
