The APC Climate Collective: A Case Study on Collaboration

ISSUE 1 OF THE APC COLLABORATION CATALOGUE

In the world of philanthropy, collaboration within and across sectors is agreed to be necessary to address the many complex challenges of the world. What is often less discussed is the how–particularly the difficulty of effective collaboration and the mechanisms that enable their success.

In this new series the APC Collaboration Catalogue, we feature different Case Studies from different collaborations across the APC community. Each case study will illuminate how the collaboration went from idea to endeavour, the different forms of collaboration that took place, and key insights for others to learn from as we all look to work together to address our common challenges in the
region.

The first Issue focuses on the APC Climate Collective, a two-year programme between nine APC members to jointly build their capacity for strategic climate action and engage in collaborative efforts to address climate change causes and impacts in Southeast Asia.
